Your First Appointment
Not sure what to expect? We've got you.
If you've never been to a medspa before — or you've had a less-than-great experience somewhere else — we want you to know exactly what your first visit looks like. No surprises, no awkwardness, just a comfortable conversation about what you want.
Step 1
Before your visit
A little prep goes a long way, but don't stress — most of this is simple stuff.
Book your appointment
Schedule online or call us at (224) 425-4109. If you're not sure what treatment you want, that's perfectly fine — just book a consultation and we'll figure it out together.
Fill out your intake form
You'll receive a link to complete your paperwork online before your visit. This saves time and lets Lyndsay review your health history in advance so she can prepare for your appointment.
A few things to skip beforehand
Avoid blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) for 24-48 hours before injectable treatments. Skip alcohol the night before. Come with a clean face if possible — no makeup is ideal but not required.
Bring your questions
Write down anything you're curious about — treatment options, pricing, what's realistic, how long results last. There are no silly questions, and Lyndsay genuinely wants to hear them all.
Step 2
When you arrive
Here's exactly what happens from the moment you walk in the door.
Check in
When you arrive, you'll be greeted warmly and shown to a private consultation room. No crowded waiting rooms, no awkward clipboard stations. We keep things relaxed and comfortable.
Chat with Lyndsay
This is the good part. Lyndsay will sit down with you — not rush through a checklist — and genuinely listen to what you're hoping to achieve. She'll ask about your goals, your concerns, and your lifestyle.
Assessment and options
Lyndsay will do a thorough assessment and explain your options in plain language. She'll walk you through what each treatment does, what results to expect, what it costs, and how long it takes. No jargon, no pressure.
You decide
If you're ready to move forward with a treatment, great — many patients do on their first visit. If you want to think about it, that's completely fine too. This is your decision, on your timeline.
The Conversation
What Lyndsay will ask (and why)
Your consultation isn't a sales pitch — it's a real conversation. Lyndsay wants to understand who you are, what matters to you, and what's realistic for your goals.
She'll ask about your skin care routine, your lifestyle, what's been bugging you, and what you've tried before. She'll do a thorough assessment and explain what she sees — honestly and without judgment.
Then she'll walk you through your options: what she'd recommend, what it costs, what results to expect, and how long everything takes. You'll have all the information you need to make a decision you feel good about.
Things you might want to ask
- What treatment would you recommend for my concerns?
- What kind of results can I realistically expect?
- How long do results last?
- What's the recovery time?
- Can I see before and after photos of similar patients?
- What does it cost, and do you offer payment plans?
- How do I know if I'm a good candidate?
Step 3
After your visit
Post-treatment care
If you had a treatment, Lyndsay will give you clear, written aftercare instructions. She'll go over everything verbally too, so you know exactly what to expect in the hours and days ahead.
Questions? Just reach out
If something comes up after you leave — a question, a concern, or just wanting reassurance — you can always reach out. Call, text, or send us a message. We'd rather hear from you than have you worry.
Follow-up appointments
Lyndsay will let you know if and when you should schedule your next visit. Some treatments need follow-up, others don't. She'll give you an honest timeline so you can plan ahead.
Your treatment plan
If you decide on a longer-term plan, Lyndsay will map it out for you — what treatments, when, and what to budget. Everything is transparent, and you're always free to adjust as you go.
No pressure, ever
We want to be really clear about this: your first visit is just a conversation. You don't have to get a treatment. You don't have to commit to a plan. You don't even have to decide that day.
Lyndsay will never make you feel like you need to buy something or fix something. If you walk out and decide this isn't for you, that's completely okay. And if you come back six months later when the timing is right, she'll be happy to see you.
This is your journey. We're just here when you're ready.
