Why It's Different This Time

You've tried everything. This isn't that.

If you've spent years cycling through diets, feeling frustrated, and blaming yourself — hear this: it's not a willpower problem. Your body has biological mechanisms that fight weight loss, and GLP-1 medications work with your biology instead of against it.

At LTH Beauty, this isn't a quick-fix clinic or a subscription box. It's real medical care from a nurse practitioner who has dedicated experience in weight loss medicine. Lyndsay will be your provider from day one — not a rotating door of staff.

One Provider, Always

Lyndsay is your provider for every visit. She knows your history, your goals, and what's working. No repeating your story to strangers.

Medically Supervised

Board-certified nurse practitioner oversight means safe dosing, proper monitoring, and real medical accountability throughout your journey.

No Judgment, Ever

This is a safe space. Lyndsay understands the emotional side of weight loss and meets you exactly where you are with compassion and honesty.

FAQ

Common Questions

We want you to feel informed and confident. Here are answers to the questions we hear most.

What is GLP-1 / semaglutide?
GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonists like semaglutide are FDA-approved medications that work by mimicking a natural hormone in your body. They help regulate appetite, slow digestion, and improve how your body processes blood sugar — leading to significant, sustainable weight loss.
How much weight can I expect to lose?
Results vary by individual, but clinical studies show average weight loss of 15–20% of body weight over 12–18 months. Many of our patients see meaningful changes within the first few weeks and notice real momentum by month two.
What happens during my consultation?
Your free consultation is a relaxed, private conversation with Lyndsay. She'll review your medical history, discuss your goals, and determine if GLP-1 therapy is a good fit for you. There's no pressure — just an honest assessment and a clear plan if you decide to move forward.
Are there side effects?
The most common side effects are mild nausea, especially in the first few weeks as your body adjusts. Lyndsay starts you on a low dose and gradually increases it to minimize discomfort. Most patients find side effects are manageable and temporary.
How often do I need to come in?
You'll have monthly check-ins with Lyndsay to track your progress, adjust your dosage, and get your injection. These appointments are also a great time to ask questions and get support. Between visits, you can always reach out if you need anything.
Will I gain the weight back if I stop?
Lyndsay works with you to build sustainable habits throughout your treatment. When it's time to taper off, she creates a gradual plan to help your body maintain its new set point. The lifestyle changes you make during treatment are yours to keep.
How much does it cost?
We offer competitive, transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Contact us for current pricing and to learn about our payment options. We believe cost shouldn't be a barrier to feeling your best.

Safety & Side Effects

Thyroid Cancer Warning

GLP-1 receptor agonists, including semaglutide, carry a boxed warning regarding thyroid C-cell tumors. In animal studies, these medications caused thyroid tumors, though the risk in humans remains unknown. If you experience a lump or swelling in your neck, difficulty swallowing, hoarseness, or shortness of breath, contact your healthcare provider immediately.

Who Should Not Take GLP-1 Medications

  • Women who are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
  • Individuals with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC)
  • Individuals with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2)
  • Individuals with a history of pancreatitis
  • Individuals with Type 1 diabetes
  • Anyone with a known allergy to semaglutide or its ingredients

Common Side Effects

The most common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and stomach upset. Some patients may also experience tiredness, dizziness, or headache. These side effects typically occur during the initial weeks and with dose increases, and generally improve as your body adjusts.

Compounded Medication Disclosure

The semaglutide used at LTH Beauty is compounded. The FDA does not evaluate compounded medications for safety, efficacy, or manufacturing quality in the same way it does commercially manufactured drugs like Wegovy® or Ozempic®.

During your consultation, Lyndsay will review your full medical history to ensure GLP-1 therapy is safe and appropriate for you.
